Gentle Yoga with Lee at the Mental Wellness Festival

Meditation Mount is pleased to participate in the 2nd annual Mental Wellness Festival at Ventura Harbor Village on Saturday, June 1st.

Join Lee for Gentle Yoga, a serene experience incorporating Tibetan Buddhist meditation techniques as a healing practice.

Lee Ann McGuire embarked on her health and fitness journey in 1995 by joining a martial arts class for self-defense. Over two decades, she dedicated herself to mastering Tae Kwon Do, achieving three black belts, and delving into Qigong and healing practices. Alongside these, she taught aerobics, kickboxing, and Pilates. Eventually, McGuire felt called to explore a new avenue: yoga.  Yoga helps us maintain flexibility and strength, while also providing a supportive community of practitioners who gather for stress and anxiety relief.

Mental Wellness Festival:  Celebrating the completion of National Mental Health Awareness month. A grass roots mental health & wellness festival inclusive of a unique Mental Health Art exhibit (client submitted), "Growing Works" Horticultural Garden exhibit (client-cultivated), uplifting music, yoga, meditation & sound bathing sessions, fun activities (all ages), community services & programs booths + a blend of cultural, holistic, therapeutic & spiritual wellness related vendors. Objective: To raise awareness about mental health and share mental wellness pathways in our community that support, maintain and/or improve our mental health.
