Capricorn is an Earth sign whose symbol is the Goat, expressing the tests and difficulties of ascending the mountain of spiritual achievement. Reaching the mountain top, the two-horned goat is transformed into the Unicorn whose single spiral horn now communes with the light of the heavens. The nature of Capricorn is reflected in its motto: “Lost am I in light supernal, yet on that Light I turn my back”.
Capricorn is an excellent time for seeking the illumination of higher places and choosing how to bring this new-found light into the world as an act of service.
