Join us in welcoming Madaraka Nyerere, visiting all the way from Global Resource Alliance-Tanzania! Following a complimentary gourmet vegan dinner, Mr. Nyerere will share his experience as Director of GRA – Tanzania and how that work relates to the vision of his father, Julius Nyerere, the Founding Father of Tanzania. GRA’s US directors, Lyn and Tara, will also provide a brief update of progress on rural water supply, support for orphans, permaculture, herbal medicine and tree planting, with special emphasis on sustainable alternatives to the global charcoal dilemma.
